Urgent problem here, when i enable software restriction policies on a users home folder to stop students running .bat .com etc files it stops kids from being able to run microsoft access 2003 databases even though .mdb etc aren't disallowed file types

Does anyone know of a fix for this? need to stop these little brats getting in to things they shouldn't!

group policy software restriction. a hash rule would do this.

ahhh im an idiot, i should have looked at related topics, applogies!

Seems putting a path rule of *.mdb unrestricted along with the path rule of H:\ disallowed worked fine, thank you to the person on the related thread :p
