Zimbra bad word filter - working but email still gets through

Ive set up a fresh install of Zimbra v6 with the bad word filter from the Edugeek wiki. It all seems to be working properly now expect one thing, the email still goes to the recipient even though it is flagged as bad and sent to the admin email.

 

Does anyone fancy havinga look at my files to see if they can spot where i have went wrong?

 

Files are too big to code quote here so attahed in a zip instead

Have you just upgraded to the latest version as this overwrites certain config files in the OS which need to be reconfigured?

I've got it working to the point j17sparky has too - it filters the emails and successfully sends me (the admin) a copy of any foul emails. But the emails still get through to the receiver - they aren't getting blocked.

Have a read through, there are several changes from the earlier version on the wiki.

Please compare the files you have to what's on the wiki before complaining ( ).

And let me know if any bit doesn't work for you

Hi Webman,

 

I followed the wiki start-to-finish, and now my mail gets delivered but no warning emails are sent (to sender or admin). Whereas before the email would get through but the admin & sender would get a warning email, now it just gets through as if a filter doesn't exist.

Could you watch the mail.log when you send an offensive message?

 

tail -f /var/log/mail.log

 

Are you using the student include list, and is the test student in that list? What about enabling the debugging lines in the script? (But make sure /var/log/badwordfilter.log has permissions).

Can I send you the mail.log file (only the part from when I send an offensive message)? I'm not sure what to be looking for.

 

I'm also not using the student part, so I removed the lines stated in the script. Can I send you that too to make sure it looks ok?
