New Tv - 32 Inch LCD or LCD (LED backlit)

Hey guys,

As the name suggests I'm looking for a new TV. I've been looking around at the 32 inch TVs and been trying to decide what to get? Been told Samsung are good.

Any recommendations?

Max of £700

Had a look at Samsung UE32B7020W as a possibility. What you think?

Thanks

£700 is overkill for a 32", even for the newest! The sweet spot for price to size seemed to be in the 37" area when I was looking 6 months ago.

I payed £680 for my 37" 6 series Samsung LCD and it was worth every penny. 24p and 100hz I would say are just gimmicks unless your a real movie buff and feel the need to have it 99% perfect.

Just remember, never leave your colour settings on default or Auto ;)

Just been told that either Comet or Curries offered a 32" Sharp LED TV, with Blu-ray player for £700 to a friend of mine down here. So, might be worth popping in to one of those shops to find out what specials are on in the run up to xmas.

Panasonic all the way - they are Which best buys in every category apart from 1 Sony model. My folks have a Panasonic in one room and Samsung in the other and they really wish they'd bought 2 Pannys now - the picture quality when out of the shop environment is just tons better.
