Hi,

We have recently switched software suppliers, and have used Phoenix for a few bits of server software.

However, when I tried to get access to download through the MSVLS website, I discovered that the select agreement was for the Local Govornment Assosiation, who are a voluntary lobbying body, and have yet to hear anything from them about granting us access.

I'm a bit worried that the agreement is for an organisation that would appear to have very little to do with our school, and as such do we have legitimate licences for our servers?

Phoenix have so far been pretty shady on the issue, maybe it's just my cynical nature or maybe there is cause for concern.

I was wondering if anyone else has bought Microsoft licences through Pheonix, and had the same problem.

Thanks all

Ben

I don't think they are invoicing multiple parties, I was just a bit concerned by the lack of responses from the LGA. By Shady, I mean we haven't had definitive replies to questions about the validity of the agreement.

If you say the LGA holds a valid agreement for schools then that's good enough for me, just a bit paranoid about audits / public spending scandals etc...

Thanks guys.
