Well I am a huge Dr Who fan and sat down tonight to be disapointed by the end. Not sure why. I just felt this episode was a ladder to what's to come and really didn't serve any purpose.

 

An episode for the sake of an episode.

 

Many will disagree but for me 5/10

Yes just a 'ladder' to plant some kind of time paradox to bring back the master. Also thought the incidental music was louder than the dialog. Could be my age though as the 2nd doctor was my first!!!!

Not sure I think what Ep did very well is show how young the doctor is (in time lord terms) and something that other time lords had figured is no one person should have the power over everything hence why got the council and the fixed points in time.

Still we shall see what happens at Xmas - [ it will most probably be crap as most of the Xmas ones are ]
