mini-itx machine suggestions

looking for a mini-itx machine.. can anyone recommend one

cool that will do, I need it to host files and php work. working on a project and need something really low power running most of the day.

I can recommend the Intel Atom systems too. They're fairly quick considering the specs. Just make sure you install plenty of RAM

 

Some ITX systems are a bit of a mish-mash of specifications however using a desktop 3.5" hard drive, but a laptop DVD drive. It all works absolutely fine though.

That machine is an Atom, yes, but there are plenty of others.

The systems I recommended a client recently were from CCL

 

You can either buy barebones or fully built to suit your needs. They were made of a good quality with a nice piano black finish

I have 2 of these ( http://linitx.com/viewproduct.php?prodid=11484 ) sat in the office looking for a home, hardly used (200 - 300 hours each), with 512Mb low profile Dimm and 40Gb 7200rpm 2.5" drive.

For an ITX solution, i'd say visit LinITX.com as that's where I get any ITX stuff from.

Our ITX systems are a asterisk + freepbx phone server + redundant backup.
