K.C.Leblanc Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Can we please ban any mention of the c word until the start of December. It is without doubt one of the most hateful times of the year.
localzuk Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Sorry but Xmas doesn't start until about the 20th December - when I go out and panic buy presents at double what they would have cost if I'd been prepared. Xmas shouldn't be mentioned until at least after Guy Fawks night.
tmcd35 Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 (edited) Anyone read John Grisham's book "Skipping Christmas" (or Tim Allens films "Christmas with the Kranks")? That's me, this year. Skipping Christmas. To paraphrase Green Day - "Wake me up when December ends". Edited October 21, 2009 by tmcd35 if I'm gonna quote, I should at least get it right! 1

Other than having to experience hours of walking slowly through crowded streets and waiting in long queues, going into masses of debt, having to deal with the in-laws and fixing all the kids electronic presents that "went wrong"... what's the issue?
Arcath Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Is it Christmas? you could subscribe to thier rss feed

Ah the silver lining, I'm single so no inlaw (there was only one).

I actually still do it on Christmas Eve most years. Strangely enough, a lot of ideas come to mind of what to purchase for people when under pressure.
