I seem to recall a script being posted on here that monitors Windows servers/IP addresses. I think it was posted by Ozan. I can't find it now though! Anyone got it or point me in the right direction? It was an .asp script.

This script was a pretty page which showed which devices were up/down. I'm pretty sure it was Ozan who made it, as a free script, but I can't find it on his website.

If all you want is a quick heads up on your desktop of what's up or down, Peer Monitor is a great little piece of freeware -

 

Free ping-based network monitoring tool

 

Run it on my admin PC here to quickly show if any access points have been switched off, print servers, etc - anything pingable. I know Nagios etc would provide more long term info/stats but this is a quick handy alternative.
