It's off a Smart 560 part number 93-00481-00.

Can any of our lovely suppliers help please?

The part you require is called a USB-FRU cable, we have those in stock for £48.00+vat Free Delivery:cool:

I had a real problem getting one of these and Simon was the only person who was SURE that he knew what I actually needed - and he was right.

With it, I was able to 'repair' a whiteboard that had been moved across the school long before I started there, and it had never worked and was about to be scrapped. Which was really good as I had only been in my new job a week!

Simon Rules!

I have a similar requirement but had forgotten all about it... Suspect mine is for a different part though...

If someone could take a peek at this pic I took yesterday and ID it for me that'd be appreciated.

I'm aware that ass-u-me is a bad idea here, especially as it's SmartBoard stuff, so does that mean I need a like for like unit or can I get a newer one?

Cheers John... :)

I'm pretty sure you can use either (we're got a mixture on our 500 series boards), if you're using the smaller one it'll ask for drivers when you plug it in. Just point it at the Smartboard Software folder in program files and it should find them.

The uk distributor is Steljes and they should be able to advise if Simon can't.

That is precisely why I was so pleased with Simon- the guy at Steljes took the board details and ASSURED me that I didn't need a special cable........but I did

I would have thought a new version would work contink, presumably my old board had an old connector originally
