I remember many, many years ago a mother washed her sons Super Nintendo cartridges in washing up liquid. As you can imagine, there were tears afterwards!

 

I wonder if that board would work after it had dried? Either way, it looks pretty old as those look like ISA slots to me

Lordy, there are even slots for cache !! That takes me back.....Possible AT&T or old IBM board...

It probably might, but the lack of a Northbridge (and a lack of many other chips it might seem) I just have this feeling it might not somehow...

That board is very old, those are fast-page RAM slots and the the CPU is passivly cooled, that is max a pentium 100. If the person that removed it had grounded themselves beforehand and the board was totally dried afterwards I see no reason why it would not work.

 

EDIT: Nevermind the BIOS is missing possibly along with some of the other surface mount ICs as stated above.
