Tricky_Dicky Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Hi all, I've just installed a Zone Director 1025 and Zoneflex access points around my school and it all seemed to go beautifully. All the access points got picked up fine and the laptops seem to be working well with it. Pleased with myself for getting in done I told the ICT co-ordinator that it was done and he promptly said "Great, that means I can get the internet on my iTouch" no problem thought I and he connected fine, but it wont let him connect to the internet! I tried with my iPhone and the same thing happens, it gets an correct address but wont let me out to the internet, just comes up with box saying "Could not open search page". Some please tell me I'm just being thick and point me in the right direction to fix this. Rich
Haptic Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 You need to check the proxy settings in your clients, 1
Dom_ Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Settings > Wi-Fi - click arrow next to your connections - scroll to bottom and set http proxy to manual - enter your settings and away you go Mine works fine with our ruckus setup :-) 2
Tricky_Dicky Posted July 23, 2009 Author Posted July 23, 2009 Proxy settings it is then Cheers guys. Stupid mistake on my part! On a lighter note, the Ruckus is now deployed and working well. Only down side is it's tricky to do a mass test on it until September when the little darlings come back (teachers that is) Rich
