Printing big posters

There was a recent thread about printing out big posters which I now can't find but I don't think it referenced this useful web site

 

Basically, you upload an image file to Block Posters and say how many pages you want creating. It then produces a PDF for you to download and print.

 

It works well, it's free, and I like it :-)

If you have a Photocopier connected to your network which can be used as a printer, you will be able to send A3 prints to it. I have done this before with Ricoh Africos before.

I use one of our A1 printers ... seems easier!

cheap, excellent quality and can do any length of their max width.

I get, when I have needs and a few quid, my local Graphic Design place to do it, they have 72" wide printers (if not bigger now) and can do full colour printing onto most materials at that size!

I and our head of DT would like one but we can't acuallly justify it...

 

Personallly I use MS Publisher. Tell it how big I want the Image, How bit the paper is and away I go. Some assembly is required but it's never too much of a problem
