Sorry not been responding did that silly think called having a holiday!

The £135 is Ex VAT and delivery would be an extra £7.50 on individual orders, bulk orders will be by request, more than 6 will get free delivery. Send me a PM if you want to order for your self and I will give you a code for the reduced price and reduced delivery.

I am in work Wednesday then away until the Wednesday afterwards, sorry not all fun I assure you!

They are due for delivery first or second week of July, basically the faster we get the orders the faster they arrive, so I need school POs ASAP please.

Price of £135 is for schools, colleges, businesses OR EduGeek member, personal orders from NON EduGeek member will not be accepted at this price.

Hope that clears things up, if you need to contact me either e-mail, phone my office and speak to Jon on 0871 464 0871 OR contact Dos Box who can contact me by mobile for urgent requests

Thanks

To make my life easier!!! I have decided that any orders received by the 3rd July can get a delivery included price of £159.99. This offer is only open to personal orders made via the website. School orders will remain at £135 each.

This replaces the £135+VAT+£7.50 delivery, until 4th July. Also I should have said the £7.50 is a fixed delivery cost regardless of number ordered, orders above 6 units will be still be free delivery.

Hope that is OK!

Let me know by PM if you are interested in Aspire Ones with built in 3G either linux or XP home, I will then look into seeing if I can get a deal for you, either in bulk or for personal orders. No promises but if there is enough interest I should be able to do something.

Thanks

Well just for reference, we have ordered 10 and we will be using this for our SEN department. better then the 5 year old laptops their using currently.

I will be looking at buying the 3G version if the price is not much different, and my boss will also be buying one of these. :)

Not Bad, Thanks Richard

Sorry due to another company coming along and taking all 2500 Aspire Ones in one order I can no longer get hold of them.

Let me assure you I am working on resolving this issue but at the moment I can't accept any orders.

If you have pre-ordered I am working on getting this sorted and will call you individually to sort.

Thanks and sorry

I fully agree with you, I am very angry with the person that sold them all, I had ordered 200 and they have been pulled from me. I am working on getting at least the back orders sorted and hope to at least supply those who have already contacted me.

Please be assured I will do everything I can to resolve this situation.

By Contacted do you mean an offical purchase order? Or the intent to order? Only our PO will have gone out in the post today. I know you can't assure that anyone at all will get them, but would we be included in those you're trying to get them for?

Thanks,

Phill.

Richard,

I haven't actually put my order through online yet as I was just about to do it when you posted about the issue.

Should I continue it or wait until you know more?

Yes, I have taken into account all the POs and orders I have.

There are another 300+ in the quote stage I will try to get them as well but they are less likely.

Any personal orders not yet recieved can't be taken until I have more info on stock.

Again I am very sorry about this.

BETTER NEWS!!

Got 500!!

About 200 already sold so please continue to order.

Sorry about the problems but I wanted you to know what was going on, I have got these 500 purly becasue of EduGeek and they will only be sold to EduGeek schools and personal orders.

Thanks for bearing with me.

Sorry if this has made you loose confidence in Acer Outlet, if would be the last thing I would want to do to let down EduGeek members.

I have turned the listing back on on Acet Outlet and your voucher codes will still work.

Ignore the price on the Outlet site. We haven't updated it yet, as they have not arrived (in a container on a ship etc). We are just getting a feeling as to how this offer would go down.

How do I order? I want one for personal use. What should the total price, including delivery, be? Thanks

I've already ordered one but, if you want one for personal use, there's also one on eBuyer for £149.98 with free p&p.

Acer Aspire One AOA150 Netbook Laptop - Laptops at Ebuyer

Ok so I can't compete with this price.

As you know I had problems with the supply of these laptops, this was because eBuyer stole the 500 I had ordered. They are bigger than me and thus were able to order 2500 at a lower price allowing them to offer them at an amazing price.

As all of you that ordered knows I fullfiled the deal and provided the laptops as promised, individual gross profit £2.42 for individual orders of which some of that goes to EduGeek to support the work Chris is doing.

I hope that I can prove to you that EduGeek Outlet provides a higher level of service than some of our internet competitors, I will never let a school customer down on level of service and after sales support.

I am still offering schools the Aspire Ones at £135 Ex VAT with free delivery on more than 10. This is the best I can offer and I hope you would still consider using Acer Outlet for your orders, valuing service and support above the bottom line.

For individual orders I accept use eBuyer as I can't compete with them.

Thanks to everyone who has ordered, I hope I can help you futher in the future.

Thanks

Evening,

I did not start a new thread as i wanted everyone who was interested to hear my thoughts.

We ordered 10 Acer Aspire One's for the school and we will be using them for Learning Support to use (WordShark, SuccessMaker, Office etc) so applications are not nothing special and perfect for this machine.

I also purchased one for personal use, and so did one of my colleagues.

So, they arrived early this afternoon! and i must admit i am very impressed with this machine especially for the fantastic price!

Installed Windows XP straight away, and it installed with no problems (using a USB Version of windowsxp) downloaded all the drivers from the Acer Website:

Acer Europe - Service & Support, Drivers & Utilities, Downloads, netbook, Aspire One 150

FTP: ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/netbook/aspire_one_150/driver/

Drivers installed with no problems at all, laptop connected to our domain with no issues and everything seems to running very well! Next week we will put all the required software on them and put them out to be used for a week or so before they break up for the holiday! :) but i have no doubt these will be much better than the out-dated Toshiba's they currently use! and you cant moan at the cost per machine.

I must admit, i have never been an Acer kind of guy... So many problems with them a few years ago really put me off.. but i can clearly see they have made an improvement and Richard has been great at AcerOutlet kept me informed i.e. delivery etc so i am one happy customer :)

*Thumbs Up for Edugeek Acer Outlet* :D

Thank you very much Richard, and i look forward to using Edugeek Acer Outlet in future :)

James.

i've got to say thanks as well. I was a little disappointed when you got your stock swiped but very impressed you still managed to deliver, and with that profit margin it was barely worth it for you so i'm even more impressed that this deal seems to be a personal favour to us. I'd deffo recommend you for any acer products. many thanks.
