I'm after a simple hardware device that can be hooked up to tft to display our helpdesk call monitor, sort of like a thin client but just configurable to view a web page not sure if anything liek that exists.

Looking for somethign sub £100 really.

I was thinking something even more basic than that.

Preferably not something running linux or windows but maybe that's not possible

eeboxes are about £200.

wii you have to purchase the web browser for it to be able to web browse.

I want something small, cheap and reliable that everytime it's turned on will go to a specific web page.

Given the way web standards change and the way that everything now requires java, flash, shockwave, siverlight etc to run you may have difficulty finding a device that supports just this with an external moniter output and no known OS. There are things like the nokia internet tablet but these would not suit your needs.

There are also those linux on a bios projects that can run with certain motherboards and act as an embedded system that can include a browser but this is probably to big for the purpose.
