I unlocked his PC, opened ProCurve manager, and then realised I couldn't remember his password (the one I'd used 2 seconds earlier to unlock the PC.) The same chap not only forgets his administrator password, he also forgets how to spell administrator.

The 4 digit PIN that usually gets me is the one for the main door at school. After I've tried, the one for the burglar alarm at home, the PIN for the door last term, the PIN for my phone... someone usually opens the door from the inside

Actually the keypad lock on our office throws me. I can always get in because I know where my fingers go, but I was asked by the deputy head and I couldn't tell her the number.

After I've tried, the one for the burglar alarm at home, the PIN for the door last term, the PIN for my phone... someone usually opens the door from the inside Must admit that one place I worked had about 20 different code locks, each changed termly (if they were not deemed to have been breached majorly before then) and trying to remember them was not fun Thank heavens for slips of paper Had about 30 passwords, 20 sets of code and pins in my head at the most I think. Now life is easier,a few code locks, few passwords and then tags for alarms much easier
