krisd32 Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 yesterday i installed a new printer in the bursars/ school managers office, there she is printing happily until i came in this morning when she tried to print a cover sheet off which that font has been reduced to about text size 2, now everything else is printing fine including timetables etc... from within nova t, tried changing every size related setting in the printer driver but to no avail. please somebody help. thanks Kris
MkII Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 I've had the issue with our HP 2600 Colour printer - a quick workaround was to zoom on the Nova-T printouts. Try changing to the postscript driver, or the other way around.
krisd32 Posted June 28, 2006 Author Posted June 28, 2006 jst found something on capitaes support, it saysAffected Products NOVA-T4 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Notes FACTS SIMS Nova-T4 HP Laser Jet printers 2200, 4100 & 1010 GOALS Printing Cover slips. SYMPTOMS Slips print in very small font. New printer. Printer driver taken from the install CD -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Advice Try downloading the appropriate driver from the HP website. The only other reliable solution is to change the printer. A workaround is to print details to html.SeeKB18002 so does any body know what settings to put in the html bit? cheers kris
krisd32 Posted June 30, 2006 Author Posted June 30, 2006 found a way round this after much deliberation!!! i used a pcl print driver ie. hp laserjet 6l driver in windows rather than the 1022n print driver! cheers kris
