Did you notice when Hamilton was interviewed by the BBC. One of the MClaren team was recording the interview!! I wonder if this was to protect Lewis or to make sure he stays on track with his mouth!

No just standard pr stuff having covered few motor events in my time. It is quite standard for pr people of teams to arrange to record interviews for stock footage etc.

I miss not having a competition to win a great prize, like ITV used to have!

Yeah like the time they had an all-expenses paid trip to the British GP complete with chauffered cars and hospitality and great seats right next to the pit straight and overlooking the podium. I entered and my bloody in-laws who don't really follow F1 won it!!!!

F@&*!!!" @~&*!!!

One thing that struck me was a single comment " if #Driver's pit strategy doesnt come off then they will have to do some overtaking"!!

wtf..... no wonder F1 is accused of being so boooring!

apart from the first lap, the entire race was very processional. it was as if trulli, vettel, and hamilton had an invisible tow rope attached to the car infront. No-one in that three car train got a whiff of an overtaking chance.

I still reckon that all things being equal, hamilton is the best driver. He outshone alonso [the other contender for best driver] during the latters' brief stint with mclaren. And he's clearly a class above the hapless kovolainen.

As for the whole overtaking aspect, kers didn't have the same impact for a car like the mclaren in this race because the lead cars were so quick in the corners. F1's always had thing where technical innovations in certain areas are often cancelled out....back to the drawing board for the FIA. Shame they can't summon just enough of rain at every gp. ;)
