SIMS training

[matt40k]

How much does SIMS .net training course everyone?

What is the average cost of say going to a training venue with a laptop? What's the cost of getting someone out?

[Jamman960]

Directly with capita I'm pretty sure its around £250 per day per person if you go to a course at one of their venues or around £1k per day for up to 6 people if they send a trainer out to you.

Any ideas about what LEAs charge? Just been looking at Suffolk and Cambs.

Made me laugh that Cambs is doing a homepage course... (£75 too...) wonder if anyone has booked it?

As part of our MIS contract with the LA all SIMS coures are free. I tend to put most of the staff through on them in the reception / admin staff etc as it gives them a basic idea on how SIMS works plus it helps when they get stuck when they ring up on the phone so they can kinda explain what their problem is.

we also supply trainers who cover all modules within sims, have done for years, we need to work on your machines but apart its fine, we don't run centralised sessions

price varies a little bit on location but we are running an april discount of £600 any session anywhere in the UK (depending on availability)
