Print Manager Plus

Does print manager plus need postscript printers to work or just normal GDI? I thought that this package and PCounter just used the GDI?

In case you were having probs with new printers appearing:

If it doesnt appear, then restart the PMP services and the printer spool, and if that fails, restart the server [like with everything hehe ]

All my printers use PCL drivers. I have jsut 'downgraded' to PCL5e from PCL6 drivers to see if it cures a couple of problems. All my lasers are HP.

 

My inkjets also use PCL drivers - beefy HP Buiness Inkjets

Purchased a new version very recently and read all the docs before hand so its fresh in the brain. It supports both and has alot of specific "modules" for want of a better word specificaly written for printers that cause trouble with the generic methods. Of the whole new network build / install I'm doing solo right now it has been the fastest install and setup flawlessly in no time. Well worth the slightly higher cost.
