I got this today...

I had some windows open as you can see, but none had been active for a while and I trust the others not to serve anything like this.

I'll try to grab the relevent details next time...

p.s If this is intentional (which I don't think it is but IF) I urge you to reconsider, I will never use a site that pops-up things in the middle of my screen. Regardless of how valuable a resource it is or how relevent the ad is.

I dont block any ad's either, but yeah some people will get annoyed with that one.

The ad seems to have come from IDG which is whom look after the ad's for edugeek so i am sure ZH/DB will let them know.

I had the same one earlier, didn't take a screenshot thou - I hope it's not intentional of edugeek, and is just one of the advertisers maybe overstepping the mark slightly. Regardless of how much revenue it might generate the site, this sort of advertising really irritates me.

I saw this earlier. It appears to be a US focussed ad, and shouldn't be appearing here, if at all as we don't allow pop overs, so please bare with us as it will be at least Monday afternoon until the as peoplin the states are in work. I ronically, our UK ad manager is over there to meet them for us this week!

Come Play my Lord? With flashing cleavage? Not appropriate - is this Evony again?

Yep, that's the evony ads. Its putting me in a very difficult situation at work with those ads now.

I'm not proposing to click on any of these to find out where they link to, but they're still getting through

Yeh I have escalated the issue further, it appears its the US side of the ad provider causing the issue so I mailed the head of operations there. If its no better tomorrow I will disable that provider for now.

Seriously, if this is legit, who thought that would be a good marketing strategy?

Merged into the correct place, not seen that one but please grab where it points to so I can see why it appeared.

@ZeroHour:

I just saw this image appear in this thread with your signature:

Some Edugeek members might consider this NSFW. Graphics included in signatures like these might need to be looked at again?

Not a criticism I just offer it for consideration.
