Hi All,

I'm having a bit of a problem sharing an Epson Stylus D62 between 4 machines on a RM CC3 Network.

The printer is locally attached to a machine through a USB connection...this is working fine.

The printer is shared with a share name of LibraryD62, and is made available in the RM CC3 Management console.

This has then been allocated to the remaing 3 machines in the room that need a share to the printer. When logging on to these machines the share is visible, but if you try to print it goes to the print queue and registers as 'printing', this is how it stays but it never gets as far as the printer.

any ideas as to why this might be?

Thanks

Just had a very same thing with the Epson D66, had to contact Epson in the end.

You have to tell the Epson monitor that you have shared the printer!!!

Have'nt got the info to hand but it's something like..

Printer Properties / General / printing prefrences / maintenance / speed and progress / then you should see a check box saying monitor for shared printers

This is on the local computer of course.

Hope you find it if not let me know and I will get the info again.

regards

Epsons grrr hate em all, especially the ones where you have to use the software just to get at the ink cartridges because no matter what you do with that damn button they never stop in the right place :?
