We've had a new AV setup in our main hall, which comes with a faceplate and control panel mounted on a wall. The company that have done the work have not been able to supply a cover, or other means of protecting these from pasties, beans and chips, etc :( I've searched google but can't find a suitable lockable panel to protect it. Has anyone any suggestions!?

Thanks

edit: size is about 12" x 12"

Since i don't really know what they look like or size, try looking for a small key cupboard or talk to a electrician about small electrical switchbox and then removal all the internals and cut the back out so that it goes over the face panel on the wall.

pics attached! it's not your eyes, they are a bit blurry, the light wasn't too good......

Yeah, I'd go down a fuse box / electric box cover with a neat cut out from the back. Or see if your friendly CDT department can knock up a small wooden box to your specs.

You have to be careful who you ask here, I've seen some some cracking quality work and some that's definitely bodgit and scarper standard! It's likely we'll be going the fuse box route

Is it just me or is that second panel not even aligned straight? and that top one... it's not even close to where they marked out and they didn't even remove the markings around it...

We used an old network walll cab to house ours. Flat on the wall seems nice and neat there.

Couldn't you make a door and flush enclosure with a lock on it?
