Shutdownertron seems to work fine on some PCs, but fails to install on others. When it fails to install it complains in the event log about the Shutdownertron service not being able to start, and to verify 'i' have sufficient privileges to start system services. Error code is 1920 or 11920 depend which bit you look at, and the source is MSIinstaller.

I've got it set to push this software out by GPO.

Any ideas?

I had this problem too and solved by installing .net 2. I don't know whether that was really what did it as I put .net on to solve something else, but they all installed correctly after that.

Check if the machines with the problem have the dot net packages on and if not try it

I didn't see this when you posted it, sorry. But yes, this error message is commonly because .Net 2.0 isn't installed, and if you're getting it on only some machines that also makes sense.
