danIT Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Since SYSMAN_MK has updated the EduGeek Joomla Package and created a new style with it I thought i should follow suit with the EduGeek Moodle Theme. So here goes....... Attached is a screenshot of progress so far, Im looking to find a few testers just to give it the once over to ensure everything is ship shape before releasing it to everyone. If anyone is intrested in testing the new EduMoodle Theme please let me know.... (Just like the previous version the theme will also be released on Moodle.org) 3

The slideshow used in Joomla has to be a fixed width, fixed width in Moodle Themes is a bit of a nightmere. Things like the files screen and messaging popup mess up when a fixed width are used.

I shouldn't worry about that too much. It's the school website which is mainly outward (public) facing. Moodle is for staff, students and parents. You're doing a grand job. 1

One thing I've found is the drop down menus don't seem to function correctly in IE7 (see attached image). As you mouse over one it's fine, but as you move to another section the first drop down doesn't disappear.

Just one quick question though, how the darn-diddley do u change (just) the background colour. I want all the blocks to remain white as they're more visable but just trying to get some kinda colour in the background to match school colours. Cheers mate and again nice work.

To change just the background try this: Edit edumoodle.css Line: 4 background: #fff; (Set your background colour here) And set Line: 11 background: #fff; (Set the colour same as line 4) Basically its the 'body' and '#page' that have the background colour setting. Edumoodle.css overides any of the other css files included in the theme.

I can't see anyone using the theme in a 'live' environment until it is fixed.
