Hi all,

 

In may laptop i have installed IE 7.

unfortunately when i clicked any link/ when i open a new tab the browser dissapear immediately. i coudnt figure it out.

i unstall it and re-installed it again. was fin up to 10 mnts. again same prblm. any body can help me? :o

This I believe is an incompatibility with a certain flash version. I just got rid of IE7 and stuck with IE6 on all our machines that have the problem at work.

Yes you will.

 

uninstall IE8 - Edit: IE6 will actually install atomically when you uninstall IE7 or IE8

IE8 is still beta software, with the final version being released mid 2009. I wouldn't recommend you use it in a live environment, but a test environment only!

 

I'm using IE7 with Flash 10 with no problems. Another thing you can try (which often works), is resetting IE to defaults:

 

Tools > Internet Options > Advanced

True IE8 is still beta.

 

Trialing on a couple of desktops at school and bizzarly on once machine when we visit BBC.CO.UK the web service on the proxy crashes.

 

Took us a while to realise what was causing the this.

 

Can't see anything to explain this so we'll configure another machine and see if we get the same problem.

 

By the way I tried rolling IE8 back to IE7 on my desktop and no way would it work.

after re setting the Ie difaults its seems workin fin. thz:D
