Dream Server Room

Today I stubled over a dream server room, construced in Sweden protected by 30 meters of rock and 16" thick steal doors with indoor waterfalls and sparsely forested areas it has to be one of the coolest places to work ever.

 

Not even counting the triple redundant backbone fibres that feed it and the twin submarine Maybach deisels that provide backup power at 11950 sq feet it is stupidly impressive.

Now only one question remains, how do I get a budget for one

Hooking up those diesel engines, would that have been an entirely custom job, or do the engines generate power in the subs anyway....so they would have had a headstart in setting it up as a generator.

Deisel subs hook the engines directly up to generation units that charge batteries so that the subs can run effectivly silent when doing military type stuff. You are right that they would have had to have been specially intigrated though.

 

@Stu - as to the toilet I am sure that there is one down there somewhere but the rather crudely drawn plans have not included it.

 

@FN-GM - I would settle for a vending machine / fridge full of Red Bull or V

How can that be a great server room, it doesn't have a stealth beam to prevent you being found or real ale on draft.
