wow was it the gbic that exploded or the whole switch? Any ideas how it happened!?

I had an old 3com 4950 working as a fibre to ethernet converter, as my boss forgot to buy the GBIC. It was sat between my 4204 and my 2824. It's power supply died. Much use of the 'I told you so' sign ensued.
