Yes, Thank God for that! First American black president is a fact now. I supported him all the way.

I guess I'm mainly glad that Action Man's Dad & Crazy Lady didn't get in... but I think some of Obama's policies seem vaguely sound... lets hope he does a good job. I really thought the race issue might get in the way - it was amazing to see people who couldn't even pronounce his name - almost as if they didn't want to!

 

I'm sure there's gonna be a lot of happy people in Kenya... I suppose the Luo can't manage to elect a president they approve of in their own country, but they have a guy they like as the most powerful individual in the world - not a bad compromise...

I just hope he was elected for what he is going to change and not for his skin colour. Yes, it's about time there was a black president - but only if that man is better than the man challenging him.

 

I haven't been following it so I don't know what he's capable of (nor is competitor) but as I say - I hope he has been elected for the right reasons, not just to make a point.
