HT is thinking about fitting an ICT suite out with 30 laptops :eek:. Just to get an idea of costs I’m assuming that 2 APs would be needed to split the load and I’m I right in thinking that said AP’s would need to be quality types so load splitting could be accomplished?

 

Any recommendations on the models needed?

@jobos - I definetly reccomend the Netgear WPN802 RangeMax, it has radius, and has such a far range its unbelivable, all of our AP's (the small few we have) are these.

@richardharris: thanks for the recommendation but looking at the specs on Miscos website I can’t see anything about load balancing. Are you sure it can do that?

Depending on what your wanting to do on the laptops, you may need more than 2 AP's especially if they are all going to be logging onto the network etc at the same time.
