Guest kerlj001 Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 My home PC has, for the last few months, frozen upon attempting to install ANY application. AV/Spyware scans are clear. Any ideas guys? TIA
Michael Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 You could try re-installing the Windows Installer. Failing this, it could be due to a corrupt component or the registry. If this is the case, backing up your data and starting again would be the recommended method to get your system running properly again.
