triggmiester Posted October 13, 2008 Author Posted October 13, 2008 Edutech, I will sort that out for you. powdaerrmonkey, I am selling because I am having a de-clutter, and while I love my MACBOOK I hardly use it and I have a work laptop, so a bit pointless having two.
triggmiester Posted October 13, 2008 Author Posted October 13, 2008 Ok blonde moment. how do I insert a pic into my post?

FN-GM Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Tempting! How old/new is it? I would guess its 18 Months + as it runs Tiger
somabc Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 er you do know about the Apple notebook event tomorrow right? http://www.blogcdn.com/www.tuaw.com/media/2008/10/spotlight-2934209348.jpg
FN-GM Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Tempting! How old/new is it? Due to it being a Core Duo processor not Core 2 Duo it will be an early model so it would be made arround May - October 2006.
EduTech Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Hmm very tempting.. have to check me bank and see how many pennys i can spare this month :\... be nice to get my own as i just play with the new one that i have at work at the moment.. will get back to you.. thats if Edu-IT dnt beat me too it..
FN-GM Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 To be honest you might as well get a new one. CPLTD sell them for arround £600 brand new.
triggmiester Posted October 14, 2008 Author Posted October 14, 2008 Thanks for that FN-GM!! Anyway update, as long as its not any kind of con, I sold it last night on ebay for the BIN price of £575.00 :-)
EduTech Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Cheers for that FN, will give simon a ring me thinks James.
triggmiester Posted October 14, 2008 Author Posted October 14, 2008 (edited) OK SO thanks to some C*** on ebay trying to get me to send my MAC to Nigeria. It is up for sale again £475.00 (Yes that is a slight reduction) - Edited as there is no need to be rude to someone. Edited October 14, 2008 by plexer
somabc Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 I found scammers are all over the Laptop listings on eBay, especially the Apple ones. Good Luck!
jamin100 Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 £475 isnt a bad price but it aint the best . . Have you looked at Mac2Sell - Guide to used Mac & iPod - Evaluation - Argus Mac, iPod, iPhone Occasion They value your mac at £430 obviously + you mighty mouse (£30) But just to put it in perspective. 1 month ago i brought a white macbook Core2Duo 2ghz 2GB RAM 120GB HD Superdrive + legit copy of Tiger for £470 eBay is being flooded with macbooks now as the new ones are due to be announced today.
triggmiester Posted October 14, 2008 Author Posted October 14, 2008 Fair enough, but also original packaging and disks copy of parallels and being an IT professional it has been well looked after. Why does everyone seem intent on stopping me selling my MAC, im sure this was the Classified ads section. Do you look at items on ebay and contact the seller saying "ah well, you should be selling it for this not this" ........??????????? Plus the Fact black Macbooks are more expensive than the white ones. Plexer, is this post OK????
Edu-IT Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 I wouldn't take it personally. On eBay you can't easily discuss an item that is for sale whereas on here you can.
