Ohh, ok if i was to start..well, what one do i start with?

 

Anyone class you want of the 5, male or female, and you can start one of the basic jobs, than at level 28 unlock a few more and subjobs!

I started playing again just b4 xmas. got bst to 68 but Im failing to beat Maat on it so gonna do sam instead. That looks easier. Jobs I have:

 

BST68 / WHM44 / RDM45 / BLM41 / BRD40 / RNG37 / THF60 / BLU27 / COR26 / NIN37 / WAR20 / PUP41 / DNC39 + everything unlocked except smn.

 

How much is it to play? I've always loved Final Fantasy...

 

in terms of content/gameplay there's enough to last for literally years! I've played on and off for like 6 yrs with the same character. Unlike WoW, one character can be all the different classes, and there's alot, and if that wasn't enough, you have to multi-class.

 

I think you can get a 30 day trial

Hi guys

 

I've recently been thinking about coming back to FFXI after leaving 2 years ago. I've had a look and my character is still active but I was wondering what you guys thought of the current situation in game?

 

Is it worth coming back? I have mnk at 75 and a couple more jobs 40/50 plus.

 

Is there much chance of getting lower level parties? I thought I might try to do pld.

 

Whats end-game like now? I never got into any dynamis-type stuff before I left.

Despite naturally less people in the lower levels. Between level sync and fields of valor things are easier on the whole.

Level Sync, you'll always find a party and trust me, its alot faster to level to 75 these days PLD is always a good class to have, always gets invites.

I do remember them bringing in FoV just before I quit, got my thf lvl'd to about 20 with that. Will take some of the pain out of low lvl grinding!

 

From what I've heard there's going to be a few changes soon, world merges (Hades is being merged into Cerberus) and level cap going up to 99!

 

Should make life interesting.

Well I'm now fully re-activated and up and running on Cerberus.

 

Just got my pld geared up and had my first dunes party last night after doing lvls 1-15 in FoV. Excellent party and FoV makes lvling a breeze. We were doing 9-10k/hour on flies gobs and crabs.

 

Anyone else on Cerberus here? I need to find a new LS as my old one seems to have broken.

Up on leviathan after the world merge. Whilst I'm less impressed at the prices on the AH, I'm mightily impressed that I logged on at 9pm and had 3 party invites within 5 mins of putting my flag up. On remora, there weren't enough people around till past 11pm for parties to start to form!

they just increased the cap to 95.
