I know there is a thread detailing how to get Outlook to configure to Exchange on login for each user, but rather than reply in an old topic I thought I'd best create one here to address my questions:

If I use the CIW to create a PRF file with stuff like %username% so it will work for any user, can I then put that PRF in, say, a shared start menu or shared area, and then aon Outlook icon make it so that it runs something like:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\outlook.exe" /importprf \\server\share\outlook.prf

would that work so that any staff member logging in and running the outlook link would automatically get outlook opened and configured to their Exchange mailbox?

Running the office setup again isn't an option here, so a way where i don't have to reinstall things would be ideal for me
