StewartKnight Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 I was thinking of taking the kids to see Madagascar this weekend. Has anyone seen it, is it any good?
woody Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 Sorry, I haven't seen it but I've heard it's good. Might come with you....
StewartKnight Posted July 17, 2005 Author Posted July 17, 2005 I've seen it now, it's ok. Shrek is brilliant, so Madagascar has a hard act to follow. The wife and kids loved it, but it was just lacking a certain something. Still, it'll keep kids happy over the summer holidays
woody Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 Still, it'll keep kids happy over the summer holidays Does that mean that you took your camcorder in there with you???
mrtechsystems Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 Yeah i have got it here and not the video camera version any one seen Charlie and the Chocolate factory I have really good and one for the kids as well
StewartKnight Posted July 18, 2005 Author Posted July 18, 2005 not much point, the penrith alhambra is even worse quality picture than a pirated camcorder version off eDonkey!
tarquel Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 My g/f (like everyone elses I'm sure) loves J. Depp lol so we'll be going to see it. There was a point she thought I looked like J. Depp - unfortunately, I realised since that she was drunk that day/night lol N.
Inox Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 Seen it and almost fell asleep myself, the lack of humour was apauling although i'm sure kids would find it funny. The best thing was the advert for it which shows almost all the best bits, however there r a few of the kewl penguins which u have to watch the film for that r really funny ;-p All in all, I would say dont waste your time watching it, i'd rather be locked in a small cupboard with a load of angry teachers for the weekend than have to sit through that dribble again!
