Creating mailboxes in exchange 2007 when a user is created in AD on another server

We have just moved from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007 and noticed that the biggest change is that you dont use AD to monitor mailboxes. So we've just been creating the mailboxs by adding new mailbox. Is there some one that i can use AD to create a new user and it creates a mailbox for that user without the need to create a new mailbox after the user has been created?

It does it automatically for us!

 

Are you giving them an email address when you set the up in AD?

 

IIRC when you create a mailbox in the Exchange Management Console it creates a user in AD anyway.

the last time i tried creating a user within exchange 2007 it created the mail and not the user but it has gone throught this time, i was having DNS problems last time could be that it wasnt replicating!
