Hi there,

I've got a teacher looking for a wireless presentation remote/mouse that can control slideshows and has a built in laser pointer. She got used to the functionality on her last projector remote control which her new one doesn't have.

I was wodnering if anybody has any recommendations the ones I am finding are mainly in America or costing £50+

Thanks for all help as always.

We have a Thomson Gyration. No physical laser but if you put the software on teh computer there is a software laser you can use. Prob a bit safer.

Very nice and works miles away (well from one corner to the other of our large hall.)

EDIT: Also can be used as a normal optical mouse which is nice for some who have problems using the air moves.

We use Targa ones here. Not sure what sort of price they are though but they're pretty good.

I think the brand is Targa, somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks for all the replies!

The Logitech looks like just the piece of kit we need and a pretty decent price too, so that's where my 'thanks' button will go to :D

Except they ONLY work with the supplied bluetooth dongle and none of the laptops with embeded bluetooth.

I have used this on a macbook pro running Vista (I know, don't shoot me!), so it does with with built in bluetooth

Here too - these are excellent - work from the back of the Hall. Laser but not gyro - just 'clicker' type mice. Very simple, staff love 'em.
