SimonWindisch Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Hi there, I've been asked to source a projector trolley. It'll be a wheeled trolley with space for a laptop (not part of the buy) and including a projector, a 4 way long lead adaptor, and some decent speakers to be heard at the back of our largish hall. Has anyone had any experience buying anything like this recently? Thanks - Simon
Elemtech Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 What about something like this? Sahara Presentation Systems > Full loaded Moby-Go2 Cabinet You dont have to have that specific projector etc. I can quote you if required. Chris
SimonWindisch Posted September 4, 2008 Author Posted September 4, 2008 Sounds good to me. Yes, can I have a quote please? not including laptop or DVD/VHS Thanks - Simon

SimonWindisch Posted November 11, 2008 Author Posted November 11, 2008 Thanks for all your help FYI we're going with exceedia.co.uk to supply us with a Moby-Go trolley and a Sharp PG105 projector with speakers and accessories for just under £1000 Simon
online43 Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Probably too late now buuuuuut ...... multimediaonwheels.com can offer a very secure (steel) and mobile AV Unit for similar money. These units are can be spec'd up to contain a mixer amp for PA via a wireless Shure mic. The projectors supplied are NEC NP 300 @ 2200 lumen and offer the 3 year lamp warranty. A Laptop could be used on the pullout shelf ... or you place a desk top in the base and connect a wirless keyboard and mouse. JBL control 1 speakers are match this type of trolley for small to medium sized halls... but you could always connect larger speakers via to match your hall size. David
fairm010 Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Thanks for all your help FYI we're going with exceedia.co.uk to supply us with a Moby-Go trolley and a Sharp PG105 projector with speakers and accessories for just under £1000 Simon Sorry to dig up an old thread. Simon were you happy with the products you recieved from Exceedia? Let me know, thanks.
SimonWindisch Posted September 28, 2012 Author Posted September 28, 2012 Definitely not, the projector broke down after a year, the speakers after 18 months, they short changed us on an extension lead and wouldn't budge, claiming that they had said it would be from 2-5 metres long, not 5 metres long, as they originally promised (could have bought a better one from poundland), the workman who was mean to fit the security brackets said he couldn't because of health and safety?!?, and didn't have any charge in his drill batteries, so I've not used Exceeia again!
dhicks Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 I know this is an old thread, but if it's any help I've found Argos or Ikea kitchen trolleys do excellent service as general portable A/V stands - £30 for the trolly, put some decent-sized wheels or castors on the bottom and away you go. Out trolley in our main hall contains a projector, PC, speakers and wine rack.
