altecsole Posted March 25 Posted March 25 You can tell it's nearly the end of term, as several support tickets from staff about Disney+ not working! We use Securly, so can anyone else with Securly please check access for me. This was working but seems to have stopped yesterday. The Developer log seems to suggest that Disney is not allowing the connection due to location. I've logged a ticket with Securly support, but it would be useful to know if this is just an issue for us. Many thanks.
StephenPink Posted March 25 Posted March 25 I can log in fine from sites using Securly - so might be a you specific issue I'm afraid! 1

TechMonkey Posted March 25 Posted March 25 If I remember from last time, this may not be a Securely issue but a Disney+ blocking you, issue. The ToS do not allow schools to play its content, so it was found that some Schools IPs had been blocked. The easy answer is to tell the staff that they cannot play Disney+ content at school, and move on with your technical day. 3
NegativeKillDeath Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Do they get to provide log in details? Could this just be Disney+ restricting access from outside the subscribers home location as per their T&Cs?
Anonymous2000 Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Not sure even if it is technically possible you should be doing it.
altecsole Posted March 25 Author Posted March 25 We are a State Boarding School, so it's going to be an issue if Disney+ have blocked our IP address.
altecsole Posted March 25 Author Posted March 25 Thanks all - I've emailed staff asking them to refrain from using personal streaming services in school.
phil0569 Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Have you reached the number of devices allowed, but yes the service is only for personal use only
