Just had a message from a teacher asking me to unblock a link for a book on Scribd. Unfortunately I don't know anything about Scribd and if I push it further up to the SLT I'm pretty sure none of them will know anything about it either! I haven't looked into why it's blocked yet, but the question is obviously 'is it safe'? Edited February 5 by Koldov

It will be done in a lesson so they can follow along on an iPad. The display framework aound Scribd will also need unlocking - depending on your filter(ing). Minors may not access or use the Services at any time or in any manner. LeMarchand Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Last time I looked on Scribd you needed an account to see a lot of stuff and they seemed to try to keep it relatively copyright-abiding. Looks like it's much easier to find stuff that shouldn't be available on there nowadays.
sigma Posted February 5 Posted February 5 If you really must, get the teacher to download the .pdf from Scribd and put it in some shared space. You don't need to do anything, and any copywrite/terms/privacy issues are their problem.
