Hightower Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 So next month is my gf's 21st and I haven't got a clue what to get her. She's dropping no hints and I'm completely stuck. I'm already taking her away for the weekend so I can't afford the world. Maybe about £100 - any ideas?
treetops Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 You could always try sponsoring a panda for her?
jcollings Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Or something from here Perfect present picker : Oxfam Unwrapped : Oxfam's Online Shop
ZeroHour Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Well if she loves chocolate I have to say Hotel Chocolat (Buy Chocolate - Luxury Chocolate Gifts from Hotel Chocolat UK) is very appreciated as part of it. It really depends on what she likes tbh. Give us her likes/dislikes and there may be more inspiration.
flashsnaps Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Bunch of Flowers sent to her work - works an absolute treat!!!!!! Then top it up when she gets back to yours with some perfume, chocolates and an amazing meal? Get her an Ipod or something as well.......
Hightower Posted September 1, 2008 Author Posted September 1, 2008 She got a nice Fossil watch for Xmas from me. DS? Doubt it. She hasn't got any really strong interests that I can focus on. She's not one of those people who love something or hate anything. She just likes everything. I'm thinking jewellry if nothing better comes up. Thing is, she doesn't really wear that apart from her engagement ring. *SIGH*
Hightower Posted September 1, 2008 Author Posted September 1, 2008 She's got an iPod. I think the flowers to work would be great if she was at work that day, but she's got to go into uni so I doubt I can deliver them there. I'm thinking of a treasure trail with 21 presents - other than that I'm really really stumped.
Hightower Posted September 1, 2008 Author Posted September 1, 2008 Haha, I remember one Xmas when my gran bought my Mam an iron! My mother flew off the handle! So I don't think so somehow.
flashsnaps Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 How about a hoover or a nice iron??? haha - I would get shot! That's 1 hint to much!
tech_guy Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Shoes. Or a rabbit. (Both the same thing for women really).
Hightower Posted September 1, 2008 Author Posted September 1, 2008 On second thought I'm liking the DS idea - but £100 is my limit and for that I can't get any games so there's no point.
Mcshammer_dj Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 how about a nice playstation 3 which she could "share"with you etc future birthdays and christmas's made easier then by buying games and add ons
Hightower Posted September 1, 2008 Author Posted September 1, 2008 nah, a PS3 is a little over my budget (just a little) and I would never use it anyways. Had my 360 for about 4 months before I got bored and sold it.
Mcshammer_dj Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 seriously now.. how about naming a star?
Lee_K_81 Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Or a rabbit. Quality! Nothing says "I love you" like a visit to Ann Summers.
Mr_M_Cox Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Moon Estates Why not get her an estate on the moon! Question is who are you buying it from?
Hightower Posted September 1, 2008 Author Posted September 1, 2008 Hmmm, or I could just hand her a £50 note and then set it on fire. Naming a star tut tut. What a waste of money!
