    Sound driver

For some strange reason one of the drivers ends up having a 64-bit driver within the zip as a seperate folder so will give that a go.

    Sound driver

I'm looking for a sound driver for Windows XP Pro 64-bit for a Toshiba A300D-132 (2xAMD Turion 64-bit) but I cannot for the life of me find them anywhere! Not on Toshiba website or from AMD.com themselves - any ideas/help appreciated...
  5. Another vote for Zimbra here, fun to play around with too plus lots of features.
  6. Believe it or not they actually do some very good ones in ALDI from time to time, mine only cost £30 (wifi, 5-1 mem stick holder, bluetooth, usb) so i just got a converter (£4.50) and installed it myself... I cant really offer any suggestions on speakers/wiring but you can get some really good quality stuff for £300 I would imagine, even 2nd hand from Halfords do some good stuff.
  7. I dont have a lot of experience with vista but you may need to get hold of the vista adm template.
  8. I'm wondering if the clients shutdown sequence is a bit too quick for certain services, so I need to control the order of the service shutdown... more thinking needed me thinks.
  9. I even get it logged in as sytemadmin...
  10. No, the AV software is not a part of the image. It's rolled out as a CC3 package following the xp build.
  11. Without rebuilding i think you may get an error message relating to an unclean package, we rebuild between each package. Once the clean machine was completely rebuilt we use build disk again to make new upto date image, so restore between packages takes 5 mins.
  12. If you have a few servers, is FRS replicating the group policy everywhere properly?
  13. An age old problem by the looks of it but one that we have. Have tried all of the above and also disabled the notifications for out of date virus defs using Administrator only notifications in every aspect of Symantec control centre on the server. Also tried manually copying the GRC.dat from the server to the client and waiting for it to change the registry and delete itself, which it did, but still the problem persisted, Any ideas anyone?
  14. This following the last attempt to take the money from folks pensions! The only conclusion I can come to is that the powers that be simply do not care about us.
  15. I caught it, laughed my back parts off!!! Looking forward to the next.
