CRB Cunninghams tills from 2020

Has anyone with older tills from CRB Cunninghams running Windows 10 attempted to upgrade them to Windows 11?

Ours all run Windows 10 LTSB 1809 so they're good until January 2029.  I think we'll replace them before then as they are such (overpriced) low spec machines.

We had some running LTSC 2016 that I upgraded to 2019 over the summer without any problems. So no not up to Windows 11  but yes up to a currently supported version.

Ours appear to be LTSB 2016.

 

How did you upgrade? Just using the ISO?

Yes. Stuck extracted the ISO onto a USB and installed from within Windows.

 

One thing I did first was to clone the disks onto different SSDs and then did the install onto the new disk. Just in case it all went pear shaped I figured I'd at least still have a working till by swapping the disk back.

Thanks, I will check with CRB Cunninghams that our support and maintenance are not affected if we upgrade

I didn't and they have done an upgrade of their software since.
