We require an experienced IT Technician to join our team of IT specialists. As a Lead IT Support Technician you will support the design, integration, deployment and other technical aspects of IT service delivery across the Academy’s site and lead the support on projects such as our one2one access to learning scheme.  

With a large and diverse technical infrastructure, you will have the opportunity to gain an understanding of and develop your skills in the following systems: Active Directory, Windows Server, VMWare, Chrome OS, Google Workspace, Office 365, IIS, SQL, Firewall, LAN and WAN technologies.

Is the 26k from an old JD?

It's a Grade 4.

 

It's not Head Tech, the role is in between a basic 3 and head tech.

I don't really know what to say, this is so far out of the pay bracket for a lead IT support tech im a bit speechless. 

 

This pay would of been ok 10 years ago, now this is isnt far above minimum wage which makes me wonder what i normal it support tech is on!

2 tiers or so down and pay is only a bit less...I'd take the apprenticeship over the team lead!

My apologies, the job title is wrong. It should be IT Technician, not Lead IT Technician.

 

Could a mod either amend or delete this post please?

Even as a stanadard technician post NCC would pay this as an N5 which is £29,064 to £31,022, I really think you will struggle to find someone at such poor wages.
