Card printing solution

Hi all, what are other schools using for a badge printing system? This will be badges for staff and students, with their photo from MIS and coded with their UID from AD. Ideally, we just want a service were its all fully integrated (click and print).

 

Some ad hoc printing during the year, otherwise bulk printing each September. Also "talks" to our Paxton and Inventry. Any suggestions?

 

Cards then arrive in the post. Or, failing that, is an onprem printer a better solution? Ours is REALLY old!

We use Card Exchange which writes the Mifare ID to Paxton and AD (in different formats). I think it was easy to setup, and to print a card just click on the user and print. Would go with on prem printer as you can print as required. Our printer is really old too but still works.

Looking at Card Exchange Cloud but it seems incredibly expensive - @River are you using the cloud version?

EasyBadge with an Evolis Primacy 2 printer, talks in the sense that yes it can print RFID\MiFare and yes they can register cards with visitor management\paxton as we do 🙂

No, we have on prem which was installed ages ago

Can it pull photos from SIMS? Or is there another method? Thanks.
