Need a new domain registrar

We are looking to change registrars for a .co.uk domain as the current registrar is an old MSP who we no longer use. Any recommendations?

Cloudflare?

 

I don't use them but I have heard good things and it sets you up to use their other tools on your domains.

+1 for Cloudflare. Switched my 2 personal domains from GoDaddy to Cloudflare. Used primarily as email domains pointing to Proton mail servers. Can't fault Cloudflare for the ease of setting it all up with spf etc. I don't host any web content behind those domains so can't comment on their other security offerings.

all the DNS, DDOS security stuff 

Pages is fab for a documentation site 

 

and the Zero trust stuff could improve your security and such 

There documentation and outage post mortems are some of, if not the, best in the industry

Just a note for fairness, 

There support is regarded as some of the worst in the industry, but at the same time your are likely never to need it for normal useage.

com and UK Are from my own bills to them 

 

the org.uk price was from a 3rd party, but I have just found https://domains.cloudflare.com/ which will give you the prices of a new registration if you put in a gibberish domain to get a price 

 

Domains are not where they make there money

As Machy says you can get pricing from that URL by entering the domain you want. It looks to be quite dynamic in prices. The .org of a popular current .com domain will be a bit more than one that is less popular

If I recall cloudflare can’t put it publically because they charge the wholesale rate with no markup so it’s as cheap as I can be.

Another we have used it Gandi.net but they do have a wholesale markup.

We've use Krystal since forever.  30-odd domains, no complaints.

Has anyone had any issues with Krystal lately? Constantly being asked to log back in in between pages, not able to contact support, having issues accessing parts of the site.

 

Has it been redesigned or been swallowed by AI agents?

 

EDIT: HA just asked their chat bot for a contact. It gave me [email protected] . Tried it and it comes back undeliverable....

Just logged in as a test and paid a pending bill - didn't have any issues with login and payment.

+1 for Krystal.  Used them forever and never had an issue and support always been top notch for me.

Hmm there's something going on with mine. Still the same page issues, continually being asked to login, now our school website isn't displaying properly and cpanel login isn't working...
