Hi, I am trying to work out what setting has been enabled to prevent users on the macs to prevent them from changing networks on their mac. Every time they select a new network it is asking for them to type in the admin credentials to do this for the control panel. I have allowed the control panel through Mosyle and given this another try but this is still coming up with the same prompt for admin credentials.

Could anyone help me with what I could be missing here? I would try the Mosyle support but the issue is that they tend to respond after 24-48 hours and I need to sort this out for the teacher before Easter.

*UPDATE* I have managed to find it for Mac. It seems that you have to go into restrictions - functionality - Administrator authorization for network changes (macOS 11 and later)

@HereIGoAgain2601 No problem. Just make sure that your devices are up to date though. I have discovered that on versions below Mac OS 15 seem to have a problem with this feature and still prompt for an admin username and password even if it has been disabled. Once it is up to date and turned off then this will allow you to switch networks without a problem.
