Smoothwall - Obvious false positives

Is there anything we can do to stop the amount of obvious false positives from Smoothwall's reporting? No skin from my nose, however the facial features of our DSL are wearing down rapidly!

Good examples are Worlde & related sites which often preload large wordlists containing just about everything under the sun to warrant Smoothwall to throw a teenager sized hissy fit, one for each safeguarding category!

Thanks, I wish I'd thought of that before posting  - not really much need for that was there?

On a local Smoothwall you can mark stuff as excluded.  Just find the entry and hover over it, an exclude button should appear at the far right.

Not sure if that is possible on cloud filter.

its actually the best way  apologies for it coming across rude.

Reason why I said what I said was its going to improve the product for us all if everyone created a support ticket for these "overblocking" alerts.

I spoke with Chris who runs our digital safety team yesterday - he was working on improving these false positives where sites have javascript lists with every naughty word under the sun (my favourite is the list of words you cant have on the back of a real madrid shirt). As such, I suspect this will improve real soon.

No worries, understood - I suspect it just shows more that the person logging the ticket has a lack of knowledge, true in my case!

Now you can't say something like that without people wanting to dig in further! I'm off to google what you can't have on the back of a Real Madrid shirt
