16-18 performance measures summer 2016

Has anyone started work on spreadsheets or other methods of generating all the updated performance measures for post 16 qualifications for this summer?

 

SISRA are waiting on the DfE to stop faffing around and finalise the details, has anyone got anything started?

Waiting for SISRA too. No point in attempting to do anything until the DfE stop their faffing. SISRA are extremely quick to implement change fortunately :-)

Does anyone know if BTEC grades achieved in Year 11 will be included when you calculate the starting point for progress that students have made.

"4.4. For all students we will work out their average attainment at key stage 4. For the level 3 academic qualifications progress measure students’ prior attainment will be based on their average attainment in full course GCSEs only. For the level 3 Applied General qualifications progress measure students’ prior attainment will be based on all qualifications achieved at key stage 4. Our analysis has shown that these are the most effective baselines that can be consistently applied in the calculations."

Is it true if you have students doing the new two year linear and they change to an AS level (Transferred on the census) they will get a U grade at the end of the year on the linear course?

Anyone else unsure which potential ex-students are going to be included in the performance tables this year? I know we had the Shadow data from last year but that doesn't tell me a lot about who to expect in the cohort this time round. I'm trying to work it out myself but it's not going too well.
