studio Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Hi all, Just a quick question - I'm wondering how people are setting up Marksheets for English and Maths in September with the 1 to 9 scales? Are you creating all new aspects and marksheets from scratch? Thanks
bobsmith Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 We're looking to move everything over to a dual grading system until the 1-9 is bedded in nationally. Teachers will (for the next year or so) enter the old aspects (A*-G fine graded) with a lookup I'm going to have to add to all marksheets which converts it into an approximation on the 1-9 scale. This will require new aspects but no new marksheets. It's probably a carry over from my Facility CMIS days, but I only delete marksheets when they are totally redundant, mostly I just modify them. Is this not the way people use SIMS?
jimbojames136 Posted June 1, 2015 Author Posted June 1, 2015 Yeah we plan on using the new 9-1 grades in En & Ma. I've already started creating the new aspects to accommodate the grades.
