Hi All, After some extensive searching and experimenting. Ive finally given in and turned to you guys for help. Im trying to get my mail merge to page break for each new class that is in the source data. Ive followed some of the guidance for doing this that others have posted with no joy. Hi All, Just wondering how people have their Census Returns set up (Inculding Workfoce Census).... i.e; Where do you have it set to publish validated files to? Who has access to said files? Do you print copies of summary document out and distribute? Do you manage all areas of return, or do you delegate to other people to manage those areas? (e.g Staff Contracts)

Hi im having a problem with a scatter graph. I have my two sets of data that i want to plot on a scatter graph. column A and Column B. (amongust other data) I have a formula to populate both columns from another worksheet else where. Column A = =IF('Data Input'!J2=0,"",'Data Input'!J2) Column B is something similar. No matter what kind of formatting i try, or any combination of formulas, i cannot get this data to plot onto the graph. However if i manually enter the data into column A rather than using the above formula. It Works! why? hopefully someone could shed some light on this for me? maybe even a resolution? thanks James

Hi, The online mode for Excel has never worked for us, and we also use a smoothwall. Using offline mode has'nt cause me any major headaches so far.

I don't even use the <> I have my Individual Report set up with a table. If a student doesn't have grades in that aspect, it removes the row from the report.

Hi All, don't know if someone can help. I have this graph as you can see the first data point is showing series "Attain" , Point "5.3" (1,7.0) where I actually need this to plot is Series "Attain" , Point "1" (5.3,7.0) no matter what I change I cant seem to get it to work. Can anyone out there help? thanks James

Thanks Vikpaw, it turns out it was just SIMS being silly and its now rectified itself.....

Don't know why but last couple of days when creating a new report the results are being displayed strange. just want forename, surname & ethnicity. However when Ethnicity comes out instead of it filling one cell in excel, its filling a cell for each word. For instance,"information not yet obtained" is filling four cells. Normally this would have just populated once cell as its that child's ethnicity. anybody got any ideas? thanks James

You can make aspects inactive, this will hide them from general viewing.

Yeah we plan on using the new 9-1 grades in En & Ma. I've already started creating the new aspects to accommodate the grades.

Possible the update for windows 8.1 is KB3023222. This is an update waiting for me to install, and my SIMS is still fine.

Hi Guys, wondering if anyone can help me spot what im doing wrong. I have 3 columns and a lookup table Column 1 Contains a Grade (A,B,C etc) Column 2 Lookups up the Value of that grade, with an iferror to stop #N/A =IFERROR(VLOOKUP([@Maths],Grade_to_Points,2,FALSE),"") Column 3 looks at Column 2 and if the value is greater than 5 return M =IF([@[Maths Points]]>=5,"M","") Now the problem I have is Column 3 returns M for every Cell, even though column 2 cells are blank...... what am I missing? any help much appreciated. thanks James
